Job summary

TARC is seeking a Safety and Security Manager in Louisville, KY to lead agency-wide safety, security, and risk management programs. The role supports the Director of Safety and Security and may serve as Acting Director when needed.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, audits, incident management, and coordination with law enforcement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least five years in safety/security with two years in supervision, and a valid KY/IN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, human resources, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety, security, risk management, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Maintain and update agency safety plan and monitor Safety Performance Targets.
• Ensure compliance with FTA, OSHA, state and local regulations.
• Monitor safety metrics, conduct audits, and reviews.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims management and reporting.
• Supervise staff and assist in budgeting and planning.
• Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and Board.
