Job summary

Transdev in Riverside, CA is seeking a Road Supervisor to ensure routes are completed safely and on time. You will communicate driver requirements, supervise daily scheduling, and assist management with safety compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, 2–3 years of transit supervisory experience, and solid MS Office skills. We offer a minimum $22.00 hourly wage plus a robust benefits package and opportunities for safety training and on-road investigations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2–3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer literate with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• DOT drug testing eligibility and compliance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job requirements to drivers.
• Day to day scheduling, counseling, and submitting evaluation reports to local management.
• Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports and safety violations documents.
• Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain drivers involved in accidents.
• Observe drivers on the road - correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.
• Liaison between drivers and customers and organization in customer service concerns.
• Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with policy matters.
• Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance - drug testing and recordkeeping.
• Drive routes periodically.
• Other duties as required.
