Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced transit rail phase execution construction manager in the Bay Area. You will plan, coordinate, and execute complex rail construction while minimizing disruption to revenue service and passengers.

You will lead cross‑functional teams and liaise with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and external stakeholders. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and risk across active corridors and facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout all project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible construction management experience on transportation or rail projects.
• 5+ years managing complex multi-phased projects in active environments.
• Experience coordinating contractors, engineering teams and public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of construction phasing strategies.
• Coordinate plans to support work within active operating environments.
• Manage reviews, packages, staging plans and site logistics.
• Coordinate track access, outages and work windows with Operations.
• Ensure milestones are met with minimal rail disruption.
• Monitor contractor performance and compliance with plans.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
• Resolve field conflicts and unforeseen conditions; assist change orders.
• Review contractor schedules and recovery plans.
• Prepare executive progress reports and presentations.
