Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Los Angeles, CA office. The role focuses on transit projects with expertise in traction power, train control, and communications, ensuring delivery from design through testing and handover.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in transit project management, strong leadership, and a proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• 7-10 years of experience managing transit projects with a focus on passenger rail systems.
• Transit experience is a must, particularly in traction power, train control, and communications.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of transit project execution, including design, construction, and testing of systems such as traction power, train control, and communications.
• Oversee and coordinate engineering teams, ensuring milestones are met with focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage tasks and resources to ensure readiness for installation and proactive problem solving.
• Provide leadership during construction and installation phases, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee and facilitate system testing, commissioning, and final handover to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
