Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA office. You will lead electrical construction projects, manage change orders, monitor costs and ensure compliance with codes and drawings.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and 10+ years of field experience, with strong communication skills and a track record of delivering large-scale transit or transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience.
• Field engineer experience preferred; electrical contractor experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims.
• Monitor job costs, prepare quantity reports, analyze labor costs and complete quarterly profit project records.
• Manage the preparation and execution of the Project closeout process.
• Research and propose solutions to quality control issues.
• Verify that all completed work complies with codes, drawings and specifications.
• Provide support to the project leadership as needed.
