Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field, five years of professional transit planning experience, knowledge of NEPA/CEQA and Title VI, and the ability to present findings to public and government bodies. Salary range $106k–$119k; full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional transit planning/operations experience.
• Knowledge of NEPA, CEQA, Title VI and EJ requirements.
• Ability to write and present reports clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and consultants in planning and analytics.
• Evaluate existing services and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct bus and light rail service studies.
• Develop comprehensive transportation plans and programs.
• Present reports to governmental bodies and stakeholders.
• Organize public meetings and outreach activities.
