City of Galveston is seeking a Bus Driver to operate fixed-route buses and shuttles, serving residents and visitors along established schedules.
The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a Texas Class A or B CDL with endorsement, and at least one year of driving passenger buses or vans. Candidates must maintain safety, assist passengers, and complete required reports.

Under general supervision, operates buses and vans over fixed routes and shuttles.

Knowledge:
Skill in:
High School diploma or equivalent; AND one year of experience operating passenger buses and vans; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work is performed primarily in an outdoor work environment. May have some exposure to extreme weather conditions and dangerous machinery. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
