Must read safety data sheets and provide good customer service. High school diploma preferred but not required; Alaska driver's license may be required.

• Ability to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks for the Borough’s bus stops.
• Paint, carpentry, and other interior maintenance tasks.
• Operate basic equipment and use hand tools as required.
• Perform custodial duties and dispose of waste; maintain cleanliness of facilities.
• Read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety procedures.
• Provide customer service to the public and Borough employees.
• Assist with cleaning and detailing vehicle fleet and transit facilities as needed.
• May be required to work on short notice, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
