MTM Transit is seeking a Logistics Technology Technician in Austin, TX, to maintain, upgrade, and install radio communications, video monitors, cameras, recording devices, and telematics on vehicles. This role focuses on hands-on support, maintenance, and optimization across infrastructure components used by MTM and its clients.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years of automotive AV hardware experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive audio and visual hardware, software support, maintenance, upgrades, and customer care.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair radios, cameras, and recording devices along with telematics installed.
• Ability to communicate technical issues and resolution plans clearly both verbally and in writing.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance on electronics during scheduled time periods.
• Troubleshoot, clean, install, and repair radios, video equipment, cameras, and telematic devices.
• Create work orders accurately and timely.
• Ensure all data is collected in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) including labor and parts usage.
• Communicate the status of repairs, completed work, and parts needed for stock or repairs.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electronic devices assigned.
