RATP Dev USA in Asheville is seeking a Technician III to inspect, maintain, and repair buses and support vehicles. You will work with a maintenance team to keep the fleet safe, reliable, and ready for service, with opportunities to grow your transit maintenance skills.

Starting pay is $28.40 per hour. This role requires strong safety commitment, basic mechanical knowledge, ability to read manuals, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on buses and support vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, brake, steering, suspension, and other systems.
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic equipment and maintenance software to troubleshoot issues.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Change oil, filters, fluids, belts, batteries, and serviceable components.
• Repair ADA accessibility equipment and other bus components.
• Operate hand and power tools, shop equipment, lifts, and jacks safely.
• Document work performed and complete electronic repair orders.
• Perform road tests as needed to verify repairs and respond to service requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and operations staff.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
