Job summary

MTM Transit in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Road Supervisor to ensure fleet operations meet standards, maintain vehicle appearance, and monitor safety and route coverage. You will develop reports to optimize routes and schedules and provide on-the-road support.

Open availability; starting pay $22/hr. Requires HS diploma, 21+, valid driver's license, DOT screening, background checks, and knowledge of DOT/FTA safety. Prior supervisor or driver experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License for the past 3 years
• Possess valid authorization to work in the State of Arizona and the United States
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle Record check
• No DUI's, DWI's or Reckless driving in the past 5 years
• Must not have more than 1 moving violation during each of the last 3 years
• In the event that your license has been previously revoked, you must have at least 3 full subsequent years post reinstatement with no violations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on time performance measures of drivers, monitor driving and safety practices of drivers daily
• Provide oversight of fleet maintenance program
• Respond and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenes
• Investigate and assist with accident determination
• Assist drivers with questions, customer assistance and overall on-the-road support
• Assist customers with information and complaint resolution
• Provide management with reports to assist with the evaluation of route and schedule effectiveness
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required
