Job summary

Luminator Technology Group is looking for a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced hardware and software on public transit vehicles. You will stay current with product protocols, perform on-site start-up and training, and document all service work to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires reading schematics, strong electrical/electronic knowledge, and a high school diploma (associate degree or military training preferred).

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate degree or equivalent military training preferred.
• Experience with electrical and electronic systems and field service knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams is preferred.
• OSHA training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Luminator hardware and software on transit vehicles.
• Stay current with installation methodologies, equipment protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Provide on-site start-up, warranty, troubleshooting, and product training.
• Diagnose errors and determine effective solutions on equipment.
• Document work at customer facilities and maintenance tasks clearly.
• Maintain professional customer relationships and resolve on-site issues.
• Coordinate with plant operators, management, and vendors to support service operations.
• Review product prints; participate in upgrades or new installations when required.
