Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates Department vehicles, providing passengers with timely, reliable, and safe transportation.
• Collects fares and/or checks passes or transportation vouchers.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip checks of vehicle including fuel, fluids, tires, and mechanical problems.
• Assists passengers on and off bus including operating wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs.
• Answers questions and provides fare and route information; maintains passenger safety and order.
• Maintains route logs, reports, and documentation.
• Performs duties in accordance with City policies and safety practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
