Job summary

Lincoln County is seeking a Transit Department Director to lead the Transit Department and oversee policy, budgeting, and staff. The role involves implementing Board policies and managing statewide programs across buses, Dial-a-Ride, and related operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, 5+ years in public transit, and a CCTM or ability to obtain within 12 months. Oregon driver’s license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in program development, grant writing, budgeting, and supervision.
• CCTM certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• General management and administration of the Transit Department.
• Policy development and implementation; supervise staff.
• Plan and manage annual operating budget and work plans.
• Act as Federal Transit Administration Drug & Alcohol Program Manager.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

Five years of public transit related experience

Certified Community Transportation Manager (CCTM)

Oregon Driver's License
