Job summary

City of Casper Public Transit is seeking a full-time Transit Bus Driver to safely transport passengers on established routes and to deliver friendly, dependable public transit service to our community.

Applicants must be at least 21, hold a Wyoming CDL (with passenger endorsement within 6 months if needed), pass a DOT physical, and have or be willing to obtain the required endorsements; one year of bus driving is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Wyoming CDL or be able to obtain with passenger endorsement within 6 months.
• One year of bus driving experience preferred.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive city buses on established routes
• Assist passengers, including wheelchair users, with safe boarding
• Keep your bus clean, safe, and running smoothly
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Follow all traffic laws and city procedures
