Job summary

MassDOT is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to oversee vehicle assets awarded to RTAs, municipalities, and non-profits. You will implement the RTD asset management program, maintain TAM planning, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal and state asset management requirements.

The role requires preparing complex reports, updating asset inventories, and collaborating with finance, procurement, and program staff.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time or equivalent experience in program management, administration, or coordination.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience; graduate degree may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset management program for internal and external stakeholders and strategic planning.
• Evaluate capital needs and review grant applications for the MassDOT Community Transit Grant Program.
• Prepare reports and analyses of operational performance and ensure data quality in asset inventories.
• Maintain records of vehicle assets, titles, deliveries and lifecycle using SharePoint and other systems.
• Collaborate with RTD, subrecipients and vendors to ensure compliance with FTA and state guidelines.
