Job summary

Hatch Ltd is seeking a Transit Business Analyst Intern to join the Infrastructure group in Denver, CO. You will support global offices from our Denver location and contribute to cost models, business cases, and data-driven analysis.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal clients, developing scenarios, and managing multiple initiatives while gaining exposure to mining, metals, energy, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, data analytics, economics, mathematics, or a relevant field
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or assist in the preparation of cost models, financial models or business cases for projects and initiatives, for external clients and within Hatch
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconciling conflicts
• Deconstruct high level information to identify the underlying fundamental drivers and aggregating detailed information to inform a holistic understanding
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and deliver written reports, presentations, and verbal reports, as needed
• Collect and summarize information using data collected from existing data sources, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and business process descriptions
• Prepare cases and scenarios to assist analysts and consultants
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between planned objectives and business performance needs
• Assist with administrative support, as required
• Successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
