Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Transfusion Quality Lead for a full-time locum assignment in Carlisle, UK. The role requires ASAP start and offers an hourly rate of £31, with ongoing availability across NHS transfusion services.

You will lead quality management in blood transfusion, ensure UKAS 15189 compliance, and coordinate SHOT/SABRE reporting while supporting staff and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Two years of transfusion experience or equivalent.
• Band 7 or above NHS experience.
• Locum full-time role with ASAP start.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality management aspects specific to blood transfusion.
• Ensure compliance with UKAS 15189 (2022) standards.
• Coordinate SHOT and SABRE reports.
