This physician will serve as a clinical attending in a well-respected group, overseeing blood banking and apheresis services, performing critical immunohematology testing, and managing a range of therapeutic apheresis procedures.

The role includes opportunities for program development, teaching, and involvement with leading medical institutions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise and possess board certification in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine, alongside required licensure in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine is required.
• Residency training in Clinical Pathology is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical attending on Apheresis, Transfusion, and Coagulation Services.
• Support a blood bank performing immunohematology testing.
• Manage a robust preventative red blood cell exchange program.
