Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. seeks a designer to complete transformer winding layouts and BOMs in support of electrical designs across varying complexities. You’ll detail and verify work, load long-lead BOM items into the system, and help meet master schedule milestones on a large manufacturing campus.

You will use software tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, and SAP, and collaborate with engineering, QA, and shop personnel to ensure accurate, manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or approved equivalent in engineering drafting is required.
• Understanding shop methods and drafting procedures is expected.
• Ability to interpret electrical design and transformer specs.

Responsibilities

• Complete winding design and BOM preparation from electrical design documents.
• Provide technical support and review designs with shop personnel.
• Coordinate with engineers and vendors to meet project schedules.
