Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Field Advisor (TFA) to lead field service activities for transformer-related projects at substations or power plants. You will supervise crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe operation, quality workmanship, and adherence to project budgets and timelines.

The role involves direct on-site guidance for assembly, service, and repair, with responsibility for coordinating with factory engineering and ensuring documentation is accurate before customer acceptance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience in power transformers/transformer accessories.
• Experience supervising crews and subcontractors on utility/energy projects.
• Knowledge of HV/LV distribution, power, and transmission equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews and subcontractors to perform work per standards and regulations.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule, manage scope, hours, and expenses.
• Coordinate with site contacts for daily updates and project changes, safety reviews, and QA.
