Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Disassembler Technician to safely disassemble single-phase and pole-mounted transformers. You will read work orders, gather and inspect parts, and sort components for reuse or scrap while using shop tools correctly.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will also operate materials handling equipment when needed and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work orders and procedures.
• Inspect parts and tools for proper condition before use.
• Disassemble and sort transformer components for reuse or scrap.
• Operate shop equipment safely and return tools after use.
• Use material handling equipment as needed and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow safety, quality, and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work order instructions.
• Gather parts and tools needed for the work order and ensure they are in good condition prior to usage.
• Disassemble and sort transformer parts for reuse and scrap.
• Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.
• Usage of material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.
