Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Full-Service Technician in Decatur, TN. You will recondition, reassemble, and test pole mount transformers, following strict safety and quality standards. The role requires reading work orders, gathering parts, and operating shop equipment with care to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include performing basic testing, using a crane when needed, and ensuring production goals are met while upholding company policies and value of teamwork.

Competenze

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mechanical and transformer experience preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.
• Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.

Mansioni

• Read and follow work order instructions to ensure rebuilding transformers to customer specifications.
• Gather parts and tools needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition.
• Reconditioning and reassembly of polemount transformers, including cleaning, inspecting components, replacing gaskets, and oil changes.
• Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
• Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and return equipment to proper location after use.
• Operate overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
