Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Louisiana OT license (LSBME) valid to practice.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead: prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all occupational therapy for your patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and work with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure excellent OT outcomes.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
• Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team regarding patient events or questions.
• Ensure continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience.
• Develop treatment plans and reassess goals based on patient progress.
• Document treatment plans with measurable short-term goals and bill accordingly.
• Contribute to PI committee activities and share information with OT staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Louisiana OT license (LSBME)

AHA BLS certification
