Job summary

Corewell Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy based on patient needs under medical direction. You will educate patients and caregivers and arrange adaptive equipment as needed.

The role includes evaluating disability levels, planning and delivering therapeutic programs, documenting care, teaching other staff, and participating in quality and growth initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited OT program is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• MI state licensure and NBCOT certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate disability level and develop a treatment plan.
• Deliver therapy to restore maximal function and educate patients.
• Document evaluation and treatment per standards and reimbursement rules.
• Instruct and train rehab staff and students on patient needs.
• Participate in process improvements and program development.
• Maintain productivity and pursue ongoing skill development with diverse populations.
