Challenge Preparatory Charter School is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to deliver rigorous instruction and guide students toward mastery of math concepts. You will assess progress, differentiate lessons, and collaborate with families and staff to support student growth.

The position begins in mid-August, is full-time, and requires NYS teaching certification with experience in middle school settings. Join a mission-driven team serving Far Rockaway students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or Mathematics-related field; NYS teaching certification required.
• New York State Teaching Certification required.
• Master’s degree in Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, engaging mathematics instruction to middle school students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with scholars, families, and school staff.
• Maintain high expectations and establish strong classroom routines.
