Qualifications

• Must have valid teaching certificate/licensing for the applicable grades and content areas.
• Criminal background check conducted per WV Code.
• Meet qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2 and related statutes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide instruction aligned with state standards and grade level objectives.
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs.
• Incorporate 21st century technology skills in teaching.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support all learners.
• Plan/co-ordinate designated co-curricular activities and school programs.
• Be accountable for individual student achievement and progress.
• Apply personalized learning strategies for diverse learners.
• Maintain classroom management and positive learning environment.
• Perform supervisory or additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
