Job summary

Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC) seeks a Child and Family Specialist for our Palmdale facility to work in the Full-Service Partnership (FSP) program. This role focuses on rehabilitation and case management for children and families within a coordinated treatment team.

You will provide services across home, school, and community settings, participate in outreach, and support families under clinician direction, while maintaining records and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience working with emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and families.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff, clients, and colleagues.
• Must have a good attendance record and punctuality.
• Must maintain confidentiality and have a clean driving record.
• BA in human services or related field; waiver possible with AA and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitative services to selected clients within CFGC programs.
• Services provided in home, school, and community settings.
• Works as a member of CFGC and FSP treatment teams.
• Conducts outreach and engagement with potential FSP clients.
• Participates in treatment team meetings with clinicians and others.
• Under clinician direction, supports caseload of children/adolescents and families, including day-to-day support, role modeling, and social skills training.
