Anthropic is seeking a Transformative AI Research Economist to build macroeconomic models of AI, develop scenario-based forecasting tools, and ground projections in micro signals from the Anthropic Economic Index.

You will work with growth theory, computational macro, and structural estimation to analyze income distribution and governance under transformative AI, collaborating with researchers across economics, AI safety, and policy.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Economics or near completion with strong macroeconomics background.
• Experience with growth theory, forecasting and task-based frameworks is highly desirable.
• Proven research record with transformativ e AI concepts.
