Forrester Education seeks a 3rd Grade Teacher / Long-Term Substitute to lead a 3rd grade classroom at our Cleveland campus. This on-site, full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a supportive classroom environment that supports academic and social growth.

You will develop engaging lessons aligned with state standards, assess student progress, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge of educational principles, child development, and classroom management.
• Ability to maintain inclusive, safe classroom environments and routines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3rd grade classroom with continuity of instruction and routines.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
• Maintain an organized, inclusive classroom and promote active participation.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate curriculum and school initiatives.
