Job summary

Para Los Niños seeks an experienced Assistant Principal for its Charter Elementary/Middle School in Los Angeles. You will partner with the Principal to drive instructional excellence, student achievement, and a safe, inclusive school climate aligned with PLN’s Community Schools model.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with staff and families, and commitment to equity. Salary ranges from $115,000 to $145,000 annually, with a 12-month schedule and 230 workdays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in school leadership roles.
• Valid California Teaching Credential is required.
• California Administrative Services Credential preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
• Oversee MTSS and student support systems to address needs.
• Collaborate with PLN departments and community partners to support families.
• Monitor school operations, budget, and safety procedures.
