Join the team shaping Humana's future

Humana's Transformation Office team is a high-performing team that works closely with senior leaders to help chart the course for the company's future. Transformation is critical to our core strategy: delivering great healthcare to seniors, providing a differentiated healthcare experience, and growing our reach and impact with members and patients. As a member of the Transformation team, you will support the complex and coordinated effort required to execute the enterprise strategy: accelerating our long-term vision by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and implementing initiatives to fundamentally change the member, patient, provider, and associate experiences.

Reports into the Director of Enterprise Transformation.

The Transformation Office is modeled after top-tier management consultancies. Team members work on fast-paced, high-visibility projects aligned with the enterprise's most important transformation priorities. Every day in the role is different, but activities often include solving complex business problems, developing industry analyses, building financial and business cases, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, managing cross-functional workstreams, and synthesizing insights into executive-level recommendations. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and the ability to translate complex information into compelling executive-level stories and presentations. Team members work across the enterprise and become trusted thought partners to senior leaders on critical strategic and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead one or more complex, cross-functional workstreams with limited support from team leadership.
  • Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving to complex strategic and operational challenges.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and develop business cases and data-driven recommendations.
  • Synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling executive-level stories and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Quickly develop high-quality, data-backed deliverables with limited rework.
  • Build trusted relationships with business partners and effectively influence stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Work effectively across the enterprise in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, adapting as priorities and business needs evolve.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by actively seeking and applying coaching and feedback.
