Job summary

Colorado Community College System in Denver seeks an Internal Communications Manager to lead the Transformation Communications Framework and build a consistent enterprise internal communication architecture across 13 colleges and the System Office.

You will translate the system’s strategy into audience-specific messages, partner with executive leadership, and deliver multi-channel communications across email, intranet, town halls, and video to engage a wide workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
• Minimum of two years of internal communications or change communications experience.
• Experience managing multi-channel internal campaigns and executive messaging.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal communications campaigns that translate CCCS strategy into audience-specific messages.
• Develop and manage internal communications architecture and channels for timeliness and discoverability.
• Produce leader emails, Q&A, scripts for town halls, video briefs, intranet articles, and manager toolkits.
• Partner with transformation leads and executives to define changes and input.
• Develop ambassador tools to contextualize enterprise strategy locally.
• Coach leadership to communicate the systemwide vision effectively.
• Lead executive communications and prepare leaders for town halls and events.
• Provide rapid-turnaround briefing notes and talking points during crises.
