Job summary

The University of North Texas - Denton is seeking a Student Services Coordinator for Transfer Student Programs. You will lead transfer initiatives, coordinate the Transfer Center with the Assistant Director and Executive Director, and support new transfer students throughout the year.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, with strong public speaking and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience.
Strong public speaking and training workshop experience.
Ability to lead and mentor student groups and coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide leadership for transfer student initiatives and programs.
Plan and implement National Transfer Student Week activities to engage transfer students.
Organize and run the First Flight Transfer Experience and welcome week activities for new transfer students.
Oversee transfer mentoring programs supporting first-year transfer students.
Manage transfer communities and program series to build community among new transfer students.
Hire, train, and supervise the Transfer Ambassador team and a paid Graduate Assistant.
Collaborate with Admissions on spring/fall Eagle for a Day events for prospective transfer students.
Serve as liaison to campus Admissions Events Committee for events and travel/recruitment.
