Job summary

The University of North Texas seeks a Student Services Coordinator for Transfer Student Programs to implement transitional services during the academic year and connect new and current transfer students to the university community. The role provides leadership to transfer programs and coordinates the Transfer Center with the Assistant Director and Executive Director.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of student services or related experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two years in student services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong public speaking, mentoring, and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide leadership for transfer student initiatives and programs.
• Plan and execute National Transfer Student Week activities and welcome events.
• Lead the Transfer Center activities and supervise the Transfer Ambassador team.
• Coordinate transfer mentoring programs and collaborate with Admissions and Orientation.
• Maintain program publications and branding across campus.
• Manage Transfer Center space, equipment, inventory, and scheduling.
• Contribute to department assessment plans and program evaluations.
