Service Corporation International in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Transfer Specialist to oversee the care, removal, and transport of the deceased. You will drive company vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and present a professional appearance when contacting families.
This role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of courier/driver experience. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work weekends/nights, and travel locally.

This position will collaborate with other team members as required to ensure processes and procedures remain in compliance. Safely and courteously drive company owned vehicles. Maintains company vehicles cleanliness. Professional appearance and business suit required when in contact with families; casual attire for vehicle maintenance.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
At least one (1) year work experience as a courier, driver; with direct customer interaction strongly preferred
Work indoors and or outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions Local and/or multiple location traveling required Comply with Field dress code policy Work
Frequent, continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per day Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently
Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 75 pounds
Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises Local travel up to 100% using company vehicle
