Job description

Immediately hiring a Full-Time Class A CDL Shuttle Driver to join Ryder in Kansas City, MO. We are seeking the right Transfer Driver to join our team.

Driver positions pay weekly at $19 per hour, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm. Overtime is available as needed. Paid training is provided.

Home Time: Local - Home daily. No weekends.

All drivers have 24/7 roadside maintenance support by Ryder-trained technicians, along with fueling services at over 800 maintenance facilities.

Route: Shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities.

Freight: No touch freight - transporting empty trailers for equipment shuttle transfer.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical
• Provide appropriate CDL with endorsements
• Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience:
• 9 months in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years in the past 5 years, OR
• 5 years in the past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
