Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
  • Entry-level role; candidates typically in their third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program

The Opportunity

As a Transfer Pricing - Japanese Business Network - Intern, you will engage with our Tax Services team to navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape. You will assist in optimizing tax strategies, minimizing risks, and seizing opportunities to drive compliance and maximize the bottom line. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success.

In this role within our Tax practice, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team's success. During your time at the firm, you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into transfer pricing regulations and the Japanese Business Network, fostering cultural understanding and market insight.

What You Must Have
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Economics, Finance
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Japanese and English
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
