Job summary

BDO USA, PC is seeking a Tax Associate, Transfer Pricing to work with a team of consulting economists helping multinational companies price intercompany transactions. You will analyze economic conditions, industry trends, and client data to support pricing decisions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

This role requires strong writing and editing skills, ability to produce draft reports, presentations, and industry overviews, and excellent interview and collaboration skills for both

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, English or other relevant field of study required
• Economics and Finance degrees strongly preferred
• Internship within a professional services firm preferred, but not necessary
• Prior experience working within a transfer pricing practice preferred, but not necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Prior exposure to Go Systems, Bloomberg terminal, tax research databases (S&P or Moody's products) is beneficial
• Exceptional research and writing skills
• Able to independently produce initial drafts of project deliverables and written reports
• Strong analytical and basic research skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting client interviews to gather information on factors that influence inter-company pricing
• Analyze industry data and client financial data to benchmark pricing policies
• Prepare project reports with methodology, research and quantitative analysis
• Prepare presentations reporting results and recommendations to clients
• Write industry overviews and descriptive functional analyses for transfer pricing reports
• Organize and summarize client information and prepare interview summaries
• Proofread and edit reports prior to delivery to clients
• Prepare training materials and internal presentations; participate in knowledge-sharing
