Job summary

Adams State University seeks a Transfer, Online and International Student Coordinator to support recruitment, admission and enrollment of transfer, online and international students. You will coordinate transcript evaluations, domicile determinations, and admission decisions, while building partnerships with community colleges and leading recruitment events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 1+ years of relevant technical or administrative experience in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external constituencies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to recruiting events including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Experience with transfer and articulation in higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process admissions files for all incoming transfer, online and international students.
• Travel within the state for recruiting events, including overnight stays.
• Maintain transfer equivalency database and run reports for duplicates.
• Assist with designing schedules and registering new transfer students.
• Routinely inform and meet applicants about admission requirements and eligibility.
• Coordinate scheduling of outreach efforts each semester and visit community colleges.
• Conduct information sessions and presentations to prospective students and families.
• Interview prospective applicants for transfer and international admission.
• Assist reading applications and provide guidance on degree completion.
• Develop strong customer service relations across campus and offices.
