Job summary

The University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) is hiring two Transfer Officers to evaluate domestic and international transcripts, determine course equivalencies, and process transfer credits. They will maintain data in the Student Information System, verify transcript authenticity, and advise on transfer policies for the campus community.

These are full-time, on-campus roles with a salary of $45,300.32 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition waivers

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred or waived for substantial transfer credit experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, faculty, and staff.

  • Proficiency with computers and databases.

Job description

The University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) is seeking to hire two (2) Transfer Officers.

The Transfer Officers will evaluate domestic and foreign transcripts to determine course equivalencies, process transfer credit evaluations, maintain transfer credit data in the Student Information System, verify transcript authenticity and institutional accreditation, and serve as a resource on transfer policies for the University community. These are full-time, on-campus positions.

The salary for these full-time, on-campus positions is $45,300.32 annually. The University will consider the salaries of current University of Maine System employees for transfer or promotion opportunities based on skills and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition waiver programs for employees and eligible dependents. Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. The education requirement may be waived on a year-for-year basis for candidates with substantial post-secondary transfer credit experience.
