Ryder System, Inc. in Northridge, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local shuttle routes between Ryder facilities. You’ll be paid weekly with a starting hourly rate of $22.75 and an estimated $910 per week, with local home time and a 6:00 AM start.

The role runs Mon-Fri with no-touch freight on some routes and a manual transmission requirement. Benefits, PTO from day one, 401(k) with company match, and other programs support drivers.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Provide valid CDL Class A and endorsements for the position.
• DOT physical and road test completion.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background check within 3 years.
• 9 months to 5 years of tractor-trailer experience as specified.

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Pass a DOT physical

• Pass a Ryder road test

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

• Maintaining accurate records and logs Other tasks as assigned
