Job summary

U-Haul in California is hiring a Transfer Driver to move equipment between centers, dealerships and the repair shop, ensuring timely movement and quality care for customers.

You will use U-Haul's proprietary technology to inspect and care for field vehicles, keep driver logs, and assist in other areas as directed by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
