Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Transfer Driver to move equipment between centers, dealerships and repair shops, and to perform basic inspections and logging. The role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork Electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
