Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Transfer Driver to transport equipment between centers, dealerships and repair shops, ensuring timely and accurate handling with daily logs and inspections.

As a U-Haul Transfer Driver, you will use U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles. U-Haul provides the support and tools you need to succeed and grow.

Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Transfer Driver Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to use mobile transfer programs
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul
• Must be 18 or older

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
