Liberty University, Inc. is seeking a Registrar-related professional to evaluate transfer coursework and determine equivalencies for LU.

The role requires familiarity with domestic and international institutions’ accreditation and processes, and it operates within a hybrid office setting. You will interact with prospective students, applicants, and families to explain transfer options and degree requirements, while maintaining articulation databases and meeting internal turnaround targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant work toward a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Must be proficient in academic processes and regulations as they apply to students.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate unofficial and official domestic and international transfer coursework for equivalencies and award transfer credit.
• Familiar with the academics and accreditation of domestic and international institutions.
• Maintain 24 turnaround times and adjust for workload.
• Develop and maintain articulation databases for transfer coursework.
• Provide preliminary transcript evaluations in collaboration with Enrollment Management.
• Acquire in-depth training in domestic and international transcript evaluation.
• Meet transfer prospects, applicants, current students, and parents to answer questions on transfer equivalencies.
• Interpret degree requirements and degree completion plan options for transfer prospects and applicants.
• Represent LU at on-campus events for prospective students and advise on transferring coursework.
• Stay updated on technologies and processes related to transferring coursework.
• Work as a team member supporting LU’s mission.
• Occasionally assist with events outside normal hours, including Commencement.
