Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt/review of transcripts for admitted special populations such as Student Athletes, Adult Degree, Military, RN to BSN and international students.
• Review course descriptions and consult with academic departments to assign credit to a JMU equivalent course.
• Counsel prospective students and advisors on transfer policies.
• Post credit to matriculated students’ official record using the student administration system.
• Coordinate transfer credit requests for continuing special population students.
• Assist in updating the Transfer Credit Equivalency Guide using the Transfer Evaluation System.
• Support the Veterans Benefits Team by analyzing prior learning credits and executing student enrollment reporting within VA's Enrollment Manager system.
