Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of general office or customer service experience.
• Proficient keyboarding and accurate data entry skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and build positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient intake and registration processes.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and processes billing indicators.
• Coordinates bed placement and hospital flow with multiple teams.
• Manages transfers and interfacility communications.
• Maintains accurate and complete patient accounts and documentation.
• Leads daily operations huddles and input of throughput reports.
• Escalates issues to leadership as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year general office or customer service experience
