Job summary

Voyages Behavioral Health / PAM Health in Texas seeks a PRN Transfer Center Nurse (LVN) to triage and coordinate transfers from other facilities. The role uses technology to review clinical needs and promptly communicate acceptance or deflection.

Collaboration with referral sources, physicians, and nurses is essential. Shifts include day and overnight coverage to support a 24/7 department; facility-based or remote options may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid LVN license in Texas.
• Experience in behavioral health and substance use field.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work day and overnight shifts; 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and coordinating transfers from other facilities.
• Monitor triage needs and complete direct referral acceptance.
• Review patient needs using technology and communicate acceptance or deflection.
• Collaborate with referral sources, physicians, nurses, etc.
• Report to the Director of Assessment and Referral; hourly position.
