Amneal is hiring a Transdermal Operator II in Piscataway, NJ to support advanced product manufacturing in a cGMP environment. This role targets individuals with mechanical trades, construction, or machining backgrounds, as well as new graduates in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing disciplines seeking hands-on work with complex equipment.

The position offers a 12-hour night shift (6:00pm–6:30am) on a rotating schedule, with competitive pay and benefits starting on day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical/electrical/manufacturing degree graduates encouraged to apply.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, trades, construction, machining, or other technical roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
• Good math skills and comfort with precision work.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work extended hours.
• Must pass OSHA‑compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
• Execute R&D, scale-up, ANDA, and commercial batch activities.
• Conduct in-process checks, visual inspections, and accurate GMP documentation.
• Complete material reconciliation, room clearance, and batch closeout.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.

Night Shift – 12-hour per day, rotating schedule (6:00pm-6:30am) 3 days on week 1 and 4 days on week 2 of pay cycle

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment
• Execute R&D, scale‑up, ANDA, and commercial batch activities

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00- $29.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, as well as a long-term incentive award, such as restricted stock units, with this position within the first 12 months.
